Casa Cantamar is the home of local artists and musicians Marco and Tracy Verdugo. It has been lovingly renovated over the past two years and is a true reflection of the creative expertise of its owners. It has a gorgeous organic feel with extensive use of adobe, glass blocks, large recycled beams from an old railroad bridge, and hand painted Mexican tiles.

In true Mexican fashion we are delighted to share our home with you and hope that you have a blissfully relaxing holiday here.

Marco & Tracy will be on hand (in the studio at the rear of the property) for any tips and advice on the local area. You may also receive a visit from one of our three resident cats who are all very cuddly and friendly.  All of the cats are used to children and very friendly.

 Dining Room

The adobe architecture offers excellent thermal insulation and there are comfy doonas, lots of spare blankets and throws on the lounges that you can wrap around yourself as you enjoy a glass of wine on the deck gazing up at the stars and the fire flickering in the horno (adobe oven).

Casa Cantamar is beautifully decorated with treasures from around the world and artworks by owner Tracy Verdugo and other prominent local and international artists.

The house is supplied with magazines, books and games to enjoy on those rainy or chilly days when you would just rather stay in and curl up in front of the fire. There is even a fabulous dress up box for the kids to explore and a large trampoline for hours of fun!
