How Far?

The Jervis Bay area is only an easy 2.5 hours scenic drive south of Sydney's CBD.

From Canberra it's a 3 hour drive via Batemans Bay or via Kangaroo valley.
Or for the 4wd adventurers, 2.5 hours via Nerriga.

Which area to stay at??

Jervis Bay is simply stunning by any world class standard. The suburbs of Hyams Beach, Vincentia and Huskisson are very popular. For this reason they are more expensive.

 Note St Georges Basin, Sanctuary Point, Erowal Bay, Old Erowal Bay and Worrowing Heights and less expensive and only a few minutes drive from Jervis Bay. For example - Sanctuary Point is only around 8 minutes drive from Vincentia.
Plus fishing and water sports are even more popular in St Georges Basin.
